Even when he’s sleeping, he’s so hansom. :)
You should have seen the look in Porter’s eyes when I came home and he saw the HUGE automatic Nerf guns waiting in the back seat.
Cody knew someone that was getting rid of them, so he immediately claimed them to give to Porter. Oh, the fun we had with them when we were back home!
It’s just as big as she is!
Haha, he’s been hit!
So maybe, growing up, you’re always told not to play with your food. Well…Hailey and I were being artistic…
Pirate with a patch waffle…
Happy waffle!
Angry waffle!
Unibrow waffle!
Confused waffle…
Surprised waffle!
Ask anyone that drives with me. My nonstop comments of “Oo, those colors comment each other so well.” “I love how the shadows are so intense and sharp against each other on that mountain!” “That would make an awesome picture. That would be so fun to paint!”
My eye is always constantly searching for the perfect scene to paint or the superb object to photograph. Lucky for me, upon this mountain ridge catching my eye and attention, Cody was kind enough to grab the camera and snap some images for me to maybe play with later. However, I really like the first one with the old wooden fence…So cool!
For Valentine’s day, my wonderful roommate heart attacked me and left me flowers. Love her to death!
Thanks, Kenna!
While back home on break, Skyler, Nicole, Cody, and I went on a double date.
We made pizza…
…and the boys worked the aprons…(my two favorite goofs, ever! Hehehe)…
The boys’ pizza….
The girls ‘pizza….
The girls’ OTHER pizza…
Regardless of the looks, they were all super tasty.
I’m sure you’re wondering if this was the extent of our fun. Oh, it wasn’t! We went to the theater and watched the adorable movie, Tangled. Then we came back home and soothed our sweet teeth with ice cream sundaes.
The passenger seat of the car, with Skyler behind the wheel. Radio on, windows down, driving down back roads, with the smell of wet dirt and crops gracing the breeze.
Do you remember, as a kid, the special smelly markers that each had a special fruit scent?
Here’s the story. Imagine sitting up late, watching a movie with your brother and a close family friend. You’re exhausted and can hardly keep your eyes open, but are having a good conversation with your friend while watching your thought inducing movie. He then tells you, “IF you fall asleep while you’re talking to me, I WILL draw on your face!” All in friendly conversation, of course. You laugh. He laughs. You forget about it…and fall asleep.
When you wake up, it’s even later than it was, the movie’s over, and he’s leaving. You tell him good-night. Say good-bye. Walk to the bathroom to brush your teeth. Of course, while you’re brushing your teeth, you look at yourself in the mirror…
….and you realize…your friend should be an artist. :)
Haha, thanks, Sal. :)
Like my first trip to the gun range!
Clay pigeons
Cutest little sister EVER.
And Skyler. Naturally. :)
Definitely a good time. First time going, but not the last!
Disclaimer: Mama, Porter, Daddy, and I all shot too. Pictures just don’t exist.
Forget the snow and the Christmas rush! Christmas baking is one of my favorite things about the season.

My little pumpkin kept me company as my passenger-seat driver…
