Today I lived.
I saw life, and I saw death.
A brand new life, the last dying breaths of the same.
I felt the birth of a new level of friendship I already had...
And the slow death of another.
I saw the brand new light of day
...And the parting of it, as well.
My heart felt the pain and sorrow of departing
...and it felt the joyous arrival.
But it also experienced.
It experienced hellos and goodbyes,
Beginnings and ends.
Today, I lived.
